Rushaunee Brown is a mom of five, licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience, and abstract acrylic artist. She runs RU Unique Braids & Hair Salon in Oak Park, Michigan, where she specializes in braids and natural hair care.

As the creator of ArteSonique, Rushaunee turns her real life into art — from animated family episodes to coloring books that celebrate moms, family, and self-care. Her coloring books are made for real women with real busy lives who deserve a moment to breathe, create, and remember how amazing they are.

When she's not doing hair, painting, or making her family laugh, she's studying to become an ultrasound tech and building her family's future one dream at a time.
